I graduated from USD-Vermillion and the University of Northern Iowa-Cedar Falls where I taught a few years. I returned to Rapid City and was a department director at Rapid City Regional Hospital for 27 years and now have a seasonal job coordinating guided bus tours through the Black Hills and Badlands. I have 2 kids, Tamra and Jon, (both in the Minneapolis area) and 5 grandkids. I'm currently active in the Mt. Rushmore Society and on the board of The Journey Museum and Learning Center.
