After High School I went to BHSC and earned a BS degee in 1970. For the next 7 years I worked for the SD Department of Social Services as a social worker and supervisor. Along the way I earned a Masters of Social Work degree at the University of Nebraska. In 1978 I began teaching social work at USD and taught there for 31 years,also serving as Chair for 20 of those years. I also earned a Ph.D. during that time. I retired in 2010. I have been married to my wife Barb (Chell), a RCHS class of 67 graduate, for 43 years and we have two children.
