After high school I went to Mines for a couple years, the Navy for four, then Montana State for my degree in mathematics. I went to USD in Vermillion for Med School. I married a farm girl from Winner, SD. The intern/residency match landed me in CA where I've been since. We have four children and, I'm proud to say, not an axe murderer among them. I practiced OB/GYN for about 25 years and retired in 2004. I had a small medical device business, Cord Stick Corporation, which fortunately did not interfere with my golf, skiing, sailing, workouts, yoga practice or pestering the wife. We now have six grandchildren under four years old and we are busy with them. "Grampa, what were the dinosaurs like?" Very stinky, indeed.
