Graduated from USD in 1970 with a BA in English and History. Went on to Oak Park, Illinois and taught African, Asian and American History and a class of Creative writing. During the summer of 1971, I traveled to Malaga and Granada,Spain and sailed to Tangier, Africa.
Met my husband in 1971, married in 1972. That year he accepted a job with Texas Instruments in Houston, so we left the Chicago area. Had our 2 girls in Houston.
After 9 years, he was given the chance to move to Austin and start up a new Fab for Advanced Micro Devices. We have been here ever since.
We have had 2 granddaughters added to our family...as well as 2 son-in-laws.
Because I am a Participant in a Clinical Trial at MDAnderson in Houston, we must travel weekly to Houston so I will not be able to make this reunion.
